The community members of Trench Town are all preparing as it is back to school season. Ms. Sylvia Banks, now celebrating 1 year at the All-Age school, is welcoming 3-6 years students into the new Infant Department this September. The Cecil Boswell Facey Basic school now be a part of the All Age school Infant Department. Unfortunately, parents will not be able to register children below 3 years 8 months, but students who are already in school will be allowed to remain. Boys’ Town leadership believes that incorporating the Basic School into the Infant Department will be of best benefit to the community. The government will pay teacher and there will be no school fees charged. Boys’ Town will continue to assist with mentorship, parenting, and personal development. Academic development is proven to be beneficial at a younger age, so Boys’ Town encourages parents to please send their children to school and utilize access to free education.
