Technical Director, Andrew Price was one of nine sports personalities recognized by the Orders of the Societies of Honour and awarded the Badge of Honour with effect from Independence Day. Neville ‘Bertis’ Bell was awarded the Order of Distinction in the rank of Officer (OD) for distinguished contribution to coaching and sports commentary; paralympians Tanto Campbell, Alphanso Cunningham and Sylvia Grant were also awarded ODs for their sterling contribution to sports, while Alfred ‘Franno’ Francis, for contribution to sports, especially track and field, and Andrew Price, for outstanding contribution in the development of national football, were also recognised with ODs. Boys’ Town was very proud of Mr. Price giving him a Big Up and stating that it was well deserved.
