Xavian is easily one of Jamaica’s most recognizable players in the wingback position since the nation qualified for the World Cup in 1998. He played School boy football for Camperdown high school, and from there he went on to play for his home town team of Boys Town FC.
Virgo playing at the age of 18 years old was often time the savior for the team in providing some telling pass from the flanks which often times ends up in the net of the opponents. While playing for the club at a time when the club had little or no support because it was in the lesser league, Xavian made a promise to his team mates that he would help bring back the club to its former glory days and back to the highest level of football in the country. A promise, that Xavian would keep as he helped the club in 2004 to win the Super league and finished second in the playoff round which secured a spot the 2004-2005 premier league season.
Virgo or Billy as he was affectionately known to home town fans, was living a boy hood dream when he played for the first time in the premier league for his beloved Boys Town. In 2006 and Virgo again showed his dominance as helped the club to win the KASAFA Jackie Bell KO cup and was instantly on the radar of many clubs including the Jamaican National team, Where he made his international debut in the September 2006 against St Lucia in the Gold Cup qualifiers. He then went on to play pivotal parts in the club capturing the FLOW Champions KO cup two consecutive seasons and beaten finalist the third year from 2008-2011. He also played an imperative role in guiding the team to 2nd place in the league 2010-2011 and 2011-2012 seasons.
All that hard work and yet he was not able to get back in the Jamaican team and felt he felt that a move away from the club would aid in that and hopefully land a major contract in USA or Europe. He was then called back into the national set up and manage to score his first goal for his country and quickly after that the home town Boy made a move which broke the hearts of many as he left the club for Harbour view and went on to win the league with them in 2013. However, Virgo played for Harbour view his heart was still at most Boys Town as he could be seen at the club on a regular basis. Now just as the new season is about to begin the home town boy is returning home and Virgo will be back in the famous colour red shirt for the new season.
