Boys Town hosted a cricket competition for Primary schools in honour of Collie Smith, the finals were played on Collie’s birthday, May 5, 2015. The competition started with 8 Primary schools, namely Boys’ Town, St. Albans, Denham Town, St. Annes, St. Andrews, Greenwich All Age, Trench Town Primary and Jones Town Primary. After 3 exciting weeks of preliminary competition, the semi finalists were Jones Town, Denham Town, Boys’ Town and St. Albans; Boys’ Town defeated Denham Town whislt Jones Town defeated St. Albans to book their place in the finals.
The finals was dominated by Jones Town who won the toss and batted first, they scored 107 runs from their 20 overs, Boys Town was then dismissed for 52 runs as leading wicket taker Romario Campbell of Jones Town took 3 wickets.
